Sammy

Sammy, my dog, is cute in many ways.  She is cute to me in her eyes, her nose, and her fur!  Do you have a pet who you love?  Well, if you do, I hope you love her/him as much as I love my dog.

One of the things that I like about my dog Sammy is her eyes. Sammy’s eyes are big and brown.  Her eyes get bigger when she is either sad, loved (when we pet her), and when she’s really happy!  When her eyes get big my sister can’t help but go up to her, pet her, and also hang out with her.  We don’t see her often because Sammy lives at our dad’s house.  If I could, I’d take Missy, my cat and live there so I could love both my pets.  But, unfortunately I can’t.  Also, Sammy’s eyes are brown.  I have to tell you, it’s pretty weird because I have brown eyes, and so do my sister, dad, step-mom, and aunt!  (My mom and cat are the only ones that have green eyes.)  My dog’s eyes are also powerful and happy!  They’re powerful because she can see really far away and happy because she’s usually always happy!

Another thing I admire about my dog is her nose.  Sammy’s nose is black and brown.  It looks all black, but if you look closely, you can see the brown!   Also, Sammy has the coldest nose!  But, that’s just my opinion.  To me it’s the coldest nose because when she kisses me I get a chill.  So does my sister!  Her nose is also wet!  I think her nose can almost replace the ocean!  The last thing about Sammy’s nose is that it is strong and also very powerful!  Sammy’s nose is powerful to me because she can small you from inside my friend’s house (it’s only about 530 feet away), and that’s a fact!  You may not think any of this about your pet, but it’s how I feel about my dog!

The last thing that’s my favorite about my dog is her fur.  Sammy’s fur is my favorite because it’s scruffy and messy!  My sister and I know Sammy’s fur is so scruffy and messy because she’s an outdoor dog.  We (my sister and I) hate the fact she has to live outside.  But, anyway, we would brush her, but we don’t want to hurt her.  Besides, she won’t even stand still long enough before she’d jump up crazily.  The next thing about her fur is that it is soft, and mostly smelly!  We are planning on giving her a bath, but whenever we do, we never do it!  That’s a bad thing, only because she stinks, but a good thing because Sammy doesn’t like baths at all!  The weird thing is that her fur is so soft.  Her fur might be soft, but we have no idea why!  I mean, if Sammy’s been living outside her whole life, her fur should be a little rough!  The last thing about her fur is that it is black, gray, and white!  I love the colors of her fur because it’s like a blend.  She’s a blend because she’s two breeds.  I forget what breeds, but if your pet is also two breeds (or more) breeds I hope you remember what kinds!

Now you know all about my dog, Sammy!  You now know all the things I love about my dog – her eyes, cold and wet nose, and messy fur!  If you love your pet as much as I love mine, I recommend you write a piece about he/she like I did.  (You don’t have to, you know!)
