Spike

My dog
Spike is very special. When my
mom saw him at the pet store
everyone thought he was ugly and
no one wanted him. Mom thought
he was cute so she got him. We
used to spike his hair up and it
looked so cute, that is how he
got his name. Spike is really
smart, when he wants a treat, he
scratches at the treat box to
tell us. He also brings over a
toy when he wants to play. When
I am sad or sick, he lies down
with me to make me feel better.
When I get hurt, he is the first
one to run and see if I am ok.
Sometimes when he comes in from
outside, he jumps from couch to
couch and runs around like crazy
like a kangaroo. He guards our
house like a mother bear. When
we rough house he is always
gentle and doesn’t bite. He is
the best pet I ever had! |
