Why My Pet Is Special Luke M. Lobo
My guinea pig is very special to me because when I first got it, it was only three months old. Her name is Abby. The first time I held her, she squeaked which meant she was really happy. When I put her back in her cage, she ran around in circles which meant she was super, super happy.
I give her fresh lettuce every day because it’s her favorite food. When I give her lettuce, she eats it very fast. She eats about five pieces in about five minutes.
My guinea pig has brown fur and a white line on her belly. If you look at the side of her face, she looks very cute but if you look at the front of her face, she looks kind of weird. She has a pointed nose and her mouth is close to her neck.
At night time, for some reason, she runs around in her cage and when I say, “Shh”, she will hop on her LEGO house and stay there for the rest of the night.
I chose Abby because I got to pet her at the pet shop and I just felt some connection when I petted her soft fur.
I think Abby stands out from every other guinea pig because I think she is the happiest guinea pig in the world. She is always very happy because I think she squeaks all the time. When I hold her, she never bites. She is the first pet I have had and the only pet in our family. At night I feed her a treat called Yodips and when I put her back in her cage she nibbles on the bars of the cage because she wants more.
That is why my pet Abby is special to me. |
