I have a dog named Buddy. He’s a cute Miniature Poodle. He’s the best in the world. We sit on the couch together and I’m teaching him to play fetch. He knows how to play but he never brings the ball back. He is the best dog. Whenever we go on bike rides he would always go on bike rides or something like when we would go down to Michael Lane he would follow us. We love him. He always licks me in the face with his big slobbery tongue. Sometimes we go in the pool and swim together. By the way, his last name is Cauley, so it would be Buddy Cauley, and his fur color is kind of a little whitish tanish. We go outside and race around the house and in the back yard and back and sometimes he cheats because he can fit through the small stuff and I can’t. But you know, he’s the best buddy ever. He likes to eat these little dog bones, they’re supposed to be good for him. I’ve had him for seven years now. I worry about him sometimes. He goes into the neighbor’s yard because he has a big huge lawn. You know where I got the name Buddy is because he is my buddy. I always be his best buddy. I love Buddy because he sleeps with me and cuddles up in my arms. Where there are thunderstorms he runs up the stairs and lies with me and shakes and I pat him. He’s the cutest dog in the world. I’m so glad I have Buddy as a pet, you know why? Because whenever I got him he was the best dog in the entire world. The funniest thing in the world is I play tug of war with Buddy and I put my mouth on one end he puts his mouth on the other end. Sometimes he wiggles it so hard it goes right out of my mouth. One more thing – MY DOG BUDDY FOREVER!

My best dog Blossom. I have a Chihuahua, her name is Blossom. She is light brown with white spots. I got Blossom from Santa. She lives in a cage. She loves it when I hold her. I feed her soft food and hard food twice a day. I let her out every 2 hours. She loves playing with my stuffed animals. She barks every time she sees my neighbors come back from the store or work. We take her on trips to the store or something like that. She loves playing outside in the back yard. She goes for walks too. She loves to snuggle up in the blankets and she snuggles up with me . She’s very playful and loveable too. Whenever I go to bed she goes with me and goes under my blankets. She’s like my teddy bear. Once I saw her in my bed and my stuffed animals were in a pile and she found a way to get in between and only her head was sticking out and she looked like she was a stuffed animal. I got her on Christmas Eve last year. She’s my best friend I ever had. I think she really loves me a lot because she does everything with me. She even protects me from people who walk by my house. She’s the best dog I ever had.

My pet Max is a brindle, loveable Boxer! However, we don’t just call him Max, we also call him “MaxiDoogen” (Max – e – doo – gun) because his full name is “Max Doogen Bowen”! My mom saved him from being put to sleep. He always ran away from his old home because he was mistreated and ran to a lady’s house. He was even sprayed by a skunk, that’s just one way we tell he was mistreated.
When he was five, my mom brought Max home from the animal shelter on December 17th, which we call his birthday because that’s when we got him and we didn’t know his actual birthday. Since he was mistreated, people would think he was a scared and frightened dog, but Max is the complete opposite of scared he’s happy to see people. He licks and jumps when people come through the door.
The funniest thing about Max is how he takes turns sleeping on me and my family’s bed with us, it’s like he has a schedule for sleeping with us. He always wants to be with people just like my cat “Sebastion”!
He doesn’t usually like to be near other dogs unless they’re calm playing with him. One of his doggie pals is a white dog named “Angel”, who we called Max’s doggie girlie pal! If we turn on music, Max will wag his little tail and dance!
Usually dogs have at least an inch of a tail, but Max doesn’t have an inch Instead he has a little nub for a tail. When he wags his tail it’s so funny to look at it go. He begs for food at the dinner table and the way he looks at us we can’t say no.
We play a game with him. What we do is take a treat hide it in one of our hands and we say “What hand?” He puts his paw on the right hand, it’s so funny and especially cute! That is why I think my pet is special.

My best friend is my dog Bellu. My dog is an American Bull Dog. It is black with some brown spots. She likes to play ball with me. She barks at strangers but then runs away to my room. She loves to ride in my car. She sleeps with me and sometimes with my mom. Once she dragged me across my yard when I walked her. When we get home she always talks to us. She is 14 months old. Me and Bellu always play ruff with each other. Like my mom says, “It is all fun and games until someone gets hurt”. She acts like she is hugging my neighbor Ashule cus she jumps on her back! It is a dog that eats human food. My uncle and Dug got it for me on my birthday a year ago. She is like a clown at times.

My pet Prince is a cat. He is 1 year old. He is a rag doll. He is my best friend, I love him 100%. He is a boy. My grandma said he is a beautiful cat. I love him. He has blue eyes and white whiskers. His coat is fluffy. When I’m in bed he jumps in bed and lays on my neck. He is white, light brown and light black. His nose is very special because it is black and has a pink wavy line that goes in the middle.

My puppy, Oreo, is the best pet in the whole wide world because she never bites my dad’s shoes and never, ever tears the furniture.
Oreo always obeys her commands, for example, if I tell her to stay, she stays. Whenever I throw her a Frisbee or stick, she always catches it.
Another reason I love Oreo so much is because she has a small pink nose and has black spots, the color of the night sky on pure white fur.
You see, Oreo is a special to me as a carrot is to a bunny, or the sky is to a bird. Oreo is my best friend.

My cat Bart is a short haired cat from the wild. He is eleven years old and he is light and dark orange and his eyes are a shining brown. Bart loves to be stroked a lot. We always play with my other cats Snoopy, Lisa, and Tazey. He spends most of his time playing, sleeping, and running around being crazy. He sleeps on my parent’s bed. He eats hard and soft food. I love him so much that I never want him to die. I remember when my mom told me when she found him on the back porch of my house. He was the second cat my mom ever had. Bart loves everyone! And everyone loves him. Sometimes he eats stuff he is not supposed to eat and gets a stomachache and he throws up on the carpet. My mom goes ballistic whenever he does that.

Maggie is special because she’s always there for me. Maggie is a playful puppy. If I’m bored, I always play with her. She’s very friendly to everyone. Maggie gives licks and always wants to be pet. She never growls, and doesn’t mean to bite, but she’s a puppy. I’m used to nipping. Anyways, Maggie is like a baby – her teeth are bothering her when they grow. That’s what’s causing the nipping.
Outside Maggie is a very fast runner and she loves pulling on the leash. Sometimes she holds the leash at the end and looks like she’s walking herself. When I drop the leash on the walk she doesn’t run away, just sites there until I pick it up. I know that sound odd, but she does it. I think Maggie is scared of it and she doesn’t want it to follow her.
When Maggie is bad, it’s usually when she nips me. Maggie is crazy sometimes. She ripped up her cushion pad in her cage. It’s funny! But it’s crazy. We all know it’s going to happen a lot! I know I only had her for a month, but I know she’s special and every dog is, but to me she is the most special dog ever!!!

My dog is a Golden Retriever. He is a pain…..usually. He isn’t an ordinary dog. His name is Tucker and he’s a sweetheart but sometimes he can get a little out of hand. He is only about 4 months old. His birthday is January 3, 2008. His coat glimmers the color of gold in the sunlight. I care for him by taking him out to the bathroom, giving him baths, and making sure he’s healthy by taking him on walks. He takes care of me all the time by making me safe and keeping me away from things that are dangerous. We love to run and feel free together. He warms up my heart and makes me feel comfortable with what I’m capable of. He has a funny duck that doesn’t squeak anymore because he tackled it to the ground – we love to play with it, and tennis balls. He also loves to chew on nylon bones in his crate. The most funniest but scariest moment in history of my dog’s life (so far) is he was trying to pick up stuff and eat it and that is when my mom fell on the ice and fell right on her knee cap, and that day, 5 minutes later, she had a swollen and black and blue knee. When I get scared, and he’s near, it’s like he says to me, “No, don’t be afraid, go and go get what you want to and don’t be afraid”. He also loves to eat ice cubes, but he usually eats Purina Puppy Chow and water. I got it at a breeder in March, so we only have had it for 4 weeks about. His mom’s name is Riley. I bet she misses them all. He loves to go out. He loves fetch. He knows sit, stay, down and no. He hates the car. He loves sleeping and peeing on rugs. And that’s where he spends most of his time. He can be a real pain but even though he can be a real big pain “we will be good through thick and thin”, I promised him. I love him so very much and he loves me.

I go to New Hampshire with her. She sleeps with my mom and dad. It likes to be in the back yard. She spends most of her time in my dad’s bathroom. She goes there when she gets scared. She loves to jump. She does not like people leaving. We got her in New Jersey from a farm. Our friends in New Hampshire got one of the dogs that we got. She is very strong. She is special. All these things about her are special but the most specialist thing about her is being with her because I love her.

I have a pet hamster named Oreo; he has a black head a white stomach and a black butt. He is very friendly. He never ever bit me. Every day I feed him and give him water. When we clean his cage me and him run all around my house. Once, I was feeding Oreo and I found a big Peanut, so I gave it to Oreo but he only put his mouth on it so I grabbed the other end of the peanut and started tugging on it, then Oreo tugged back and before we knew it, we where playing tug of war. Then I let go and he ate the peanut. He eats a lot of nuts and vegetables. I got my best buddy at Petco.

My dog’s name is Cassey. She is 12 years old. She is a yellow Lab. She is deaf now but I can still connect with her. She plays with me outside like a friend. I love it when I give her a treat, it tickles the palm of my hand. When I go to bed she gets cozy and near. It helps me go to sleep on tough nights. When I get home I hear her barking in my room. I have a yellow lab webkin I named it after her. She loves to play with me in bad and good times. When I lay down she jumps on me like a trampoline. Her ears are as floppy as a bowling ball. She loves when my friends come over. When it is windy her fur goes woosh like she is running fast in the green grass. When she is in the car she always wants to go in the front. When she comes in she really hugs me but it feels good! I love my dog so much!

Adventures with Boomer – let’s paw to it! My pet is a Golden Retriever. It’s name is Boomer. It is 10 years old and it has a light brown fur coat with a tinge of yellow in his eyes. I feed it and walk it and do lots of other stuff too. We go to my brother’s and sister’s games and play. It likes to play outside and play catch with a tennis ball. When I throw a treat up the stairs, he will bring it back to whoever threw it. Well we asked to go to the park in the summer and play there, and we also used to jump obstacles when I set them up. It usually eats dog food and chicken, but on special occasions he has our food or gets our food mixed in with his. We got Boomer about 10 and a half years ago and it sleeps in its bed in the living room. I like playing fetch with him. It spends most of its time outside in the summer and in the winter it mostly plays inside. And we travel almost everywhere with him. He like means the world to me. I do not know what I would do if I didn’t have Boomer. I love him with all of my heart.

My dog Goldie is a Golden Doodle. She is as golden as the sun. Her soft brown eyes melt your heart when you look into them. When I come downstairs in the morning, she can’t get to me fast enough. When she’s happy she dodles around with her little curly tail wagging as fast as it goes. Goldie hates baths but she loves to swim in ponds. Goldie loves to play with other dogs. Goldie is 6 months old. She was born on November 26, 2007. I feed Goldie three times a day and give her long walks. Her favorite walk is a long walk in the woods. When I feel sad, Goldie makes me happy. My dog eats little brown balls called kibble. Goldie helps me in sooooo many ways. Goldie has sharp puppy teeth. Goldie mostly is in her crate but when she is out she is at somebody’s feet. Goldie fetches but she doesn’t bring it back. When we got Goldie we knew we wanted a girl. When we called the lady who we were going to get a dog from she had three puppies, two girls and one boy. When we got there, there were two dogs left, one of each. We all went to Goldie and luckily she was the girl. A funny memory of Goldie is when it was winter and Goldie was playing with our neighbor’s dog and they weren’t following our family or our neighbor’s family. We were all going for a walk in the woods. So we all fell down on our backs and Goldie ran over to us and went down on her back too, it was so funny. Me and Goldie practice agility every day. I make a little course for Goldie and we jump it together. Her favorite is one on each side, the highest in the middle, then one in front and one in the back of the middle jump. My dog means so much to me, I mean it. She is my best friend. I live in a neighborhood full of boys. She is the only girl so she is my very best friend. We do everything together. Me and Goldie love to play predator and prey with my brother. When I am with Goldie, I am always happy. When I am not home I always think of Goldie. I LOVE MY DOG GOLDIE SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Rosie, my little sister screamed when she saw him. I got him because he was all alone at the store, he was the last one there. He lives inside my house in the bonus room. I feed him every day because he eats all his food every day. I think he loves me too. He has a toy bell. He snuggles with me too and I snuggle with him. He might be a dwarf cross. Once I was holding him and it felt like I was snuggling with a really soft blanket or pillow. He is my best friend. I’m so glad to have him. I can’t wait to see if I win. See what my dog would be!! Even though I don’t have a pet right now or in the past, if I did have a pet it would be a little Golden Doodle puppy and I would name her Sunset. She would be 2 years old so she would not chew on the furniture. Sunset’s color of her fur would be yellow goldish as gold and yellow as the shining sun. I would like if she slept on the foot of my bed and would play with me on rainy days in the living room. My pet will eat wet food and dry food and fresh water every day. I would take Sunset to my house in New Hampshire. She would stick her head out the window and her ears would blow in the wind and when we would get there I would let her run free. I would throw a tennis ball in the lake and Sunset would come back, shake and get me all wet, but that would be okay. When we go hike to the fire house, I am sure she will eat the blueberries on the way. When I am in New Hampshire I would walk her down to the marina. When we got to the marina down my street I would go in the water. When I am at my house in Suffield I would walk her around my loop. That’s what I would do with my dog. My parents said they might get a small dog when I get to college, but that will be a while.
